• The debate will be conducted in the Asian Parliamentary format
 
• There will be two teams, opposition and proposition, each representing different sides.

• Each team will consist of three speakers, with differing speaker roles.

• Each speech will be 3 minutes long with 1 minute 30 seconds for reply speeches.

• From the Quarterfinals onwards, each speech will be 4 minutes long with a 2-minute reply speech

• POIS (Points of Information) will be entertained from Quarterfinals.

• The first speaker is responsible for introducing the motion and its enforcement.

• The second speaker is responsible for rebuilding the motion and for producing substantive arguments.

• The third speaker is responsible for solely rebutting and clashing with the speech made by the opposition

• The first or second speaker can serve as the reply speaker, who is responsible for responding to the opposing team and summarizing the entire debate.
 
• The semi-finals and finals will have speeches lasting 6 minutes each with reply speeches lasting 3 minutes.

• From the quarterfinals onwards, the first minute and last minute will be protected time.
